The document is imaged using a laser or ink jet printer. The permit section is removed and either stuck to the inside of a vehicle windscreen or shop window or placed on the dash. The permits can also be produced in self-laminating.
Other integrated products include ACROD permits, membership cards, street trading permits, student cards, promotional items and special offers.
The addition of security features such as Copy-Void pantographs, holographic and laser foils, fluorescent inks, numbering, barcoding and invisible inks make it extremely difficult for the permit to be copied.
